PUBLIC HEARING ON THE MINIMUM WAGE BILL

Minister of Labour and Employment "Chris Ngige" boldly stands against increase of minimum wage bill.
Ngige is a self centered politician who does not give a delm about Nigerian workers and Nigeria at large. He is a man that does not want the economic sector to favour Nigerian workers because of his habbit of stealing Nigeria funds into his private pocket, He has not given us a reason why he is against the progress of Nigerian workers because it is quite hard to understand that a minister of Nigeria would be responsible for the set backs of Nigeria workers.
In the public hearing which took place on the 28 of January 2019, Ngige accept the fact that the minimum wage is essential to workers, he made it clear that he is not against the minimum wage but he is against it's increase of the wage causing a breakdown in the economy, saying that the wage would be reviewed by the government according to the economy of the country and it's capacity and ability to pay and still stand strong.
Ngige also emphasize that the government can not be compelled to increase the wage because it is left for the government to decide on what it is capable of paying, most especially because the economy needs to be protected.
